In Class - Continue to discuss and select the topic for the Service Learning Project. Operation Gratitude (click on the title of this post for the link to the website) version LSHS is underway. Do some research tonight and begin thinking of ways to spread the word througout the campus (posters, flyers, sidewalk chalk). We need to have stuff up around campus by Friday. What can you do to help in this project? Remember, I need 100% buy in from everyone in order for this to be a success.
Homework - Start to prepare yourself for the task at hand. Come ready to work tomorrow in class.

so, apparently the organization also wanted to send extra halloween candy to the troops but i think the last day to send that is friday :/
I know. I have emailed back and forth with the Charlie from Operation Gratitude, and he said that our stuff would ship out in the spring. Had I known about this before hand, I would have planned better. But, this is a new thing for me.
Even Though it will be sent in the spring, the main thing is that you started with a project that will be perfected with each try.
I've been working on a video and a possible flyer.
I agree Shawn. Coming up with new project ideas involves taking some chances. Thanks for the kind words. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
iam excited for this project .... i hope it gets big. i agree you need everyone to be on board so it can big.. iam on board 100%.. this project is going to great to do and the good thing it is give a letter because the smallest things you give are always the best.. =) =)=)=)
