Homework - 1st Period: Double Web Journal Entry: SB 1070. Complete this handout while researching. Be sure to follow directions, include full MLA citations (see handout with syllabus), and a complete synthesis of your research (on the back). Also, I highly recommend you utilize the library's online databases (see handout with syllabus for login information). This is due on Friday. Also, QOW is due on Friday (see post from 8/13: this is where you will post your comment). Make sure you are updating your blog with daily research.
2nd and 4th Periods: WHIP Presentation/discussion. Continue to watch and discuss "The Moral Case Against SB 1070." As you watch, write down key people, events, political battles, questions, and arguments as you watch. Hand out homework (due on Monday): Immigration Reform Opinions. Research different points of view. Be sure to include a works cited for all of your information. Also, be sure to complete the questions on the back of handout.
